The Department of Mathematics at Colgate University invites applications for a tenure-stream position in classical or functional analysis at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning fall semester 2013. We seek candidates who will assist the department to keep abreast of the directions, developments and trends in analysis. Colgate is a highly-selective liberal arts university of 2800 students situated in central New York. Colgate faculty are committed to excellence in both teaching and scholarship. All Colgate faculty are expected to participate in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. Completion of Ph.D. is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire.
