JOB# BE1302 Assistant Professor or Lecturer of Business Administration and Management

The School of Business and Economics at Indiana University East has a position opening for an assistant professor or lecturer of Business Administration and Management. This academic year, tenure-track or lecturer position will teach introductory and advanced organizational behavior and management courses in Business Administration program; flexibility in teaching required with abilities to cover two of the following areas: Business Ethics, Organization Behavior, Strategic Management and/or Human Resources. An earned doctorate, completed by August 2013, in Organization Behavior, Human Resources management, Business Administration with appropriate concentration, or a related field required for tenure-track position; a Master's degree in related field required for lecturer position. Previous on-line teaching experience preferred; experience teaching in graduate business program and industry experience preferred. Engagement in community leadership activities expected.
Responsibilities will include introductory and advanced level courses, including on-line courses. An active program of research in area of discipline is expected for tenure-track position. Position may require some teaching in Lawrenceburg area.
