Apple may seek to keep Galaxy phone out of U.S. market

An attorney for Apple Inc.?

At a hearing Thursday in a federal court in San Jose, Calif., Apple attorney Josh Krevitt said the company could file for a temporary restraining order as early as Friday.

But U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh told Apple that a restraining order likely would delay the company's July trial date over different Samsung devices, including the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

"I cannot be an Apple v. Samsung judge," Koh said.

Apple sued Samsung for patent infringement last year, accusing the South Korean electronics maker of "slavishly" copying the iPhone and iPad. Samsung denies the claims and countersued.

Apple operates two retail stores in San Antonio.
