Travel RVing ? Cooking Up Some Vittles in Your RV Galley ...

On the Road Again. There is excitement in the air every time we load up the RV and head off for parts unknown. Doesn?t matter if it is the first time or the hundred and first time, whether we are heading north, south, east, or west?the anticipation is incredible. The expectation of leisurely breakfasts and dinners are prime motivators for me. The quality of the food intrinsically determines the success of the trip. I want to prepare meals that are every bit as tasty as the ones I prepare at home.
If you have looked at the latest RVs, I?m sure you know that some of them have galleys that rival nearly any gourmet kitchen in America. Double ovens, full-sized refrigerators, dishwashers, granite counter tops?all of these and more are showing up in today?s RV galley. But, if you haven?t yet made the commitment to the colossal kitchen craze, beats by dre sale , you will have to plan ahead when you are stocking your regular-sized RV kitchen. If appliances are your thing, be sure to bring along a few that you really rely on when you stock your RV for the upcoming trip. Some folks can?t get along without a bread machine and a crock pot or slow cooker is a must for just about everyone.
If you love to cook, as I do, you can easily prepare marvelous meals in your RV kitchen. But who wants to spend all their time in the kitchen? No fun in that. The secret to successful RV cooking is simply to plan ahead.
When you are deciding what to take along to eat on your vacation or excursion, consider cooking some of the meals at home before you leave. You can make stews, soups, sauces, meatballs, meatloaf and freeze them. All you have to do is warm them up when you are settled in to your campsite.
Marinate meats and veggies ahead of time. Meats and vegetables can be easily transported in their marinades in plastic bags?ready to be cooked when you are ready to cook ?em. Prepare all your mixes in advance, beats by dr dre , too. If you want to make bread, measure all the dry ingredients into plastic bags?just add the wet ingredients when you are ready to bake it. Don?t be afraid to use prepared ingredients. Pre-cut fruits and veggies, pre-shredded cheeses, and frozen hamburger patties are some examples that will save you lots of time in the kitchen.
Whether in a travel trailer, motorhome, or 5th wheeler, as you travel in your RV you will develop your own guidelines to help you save time and energy while cooking in your RV.
