And if your town doesn?t have this option, maybe it does have a pond or marina somewhere where you and your family can enjoy fishing, wading, or simply a pleasant outdoor stroll.
The great thing about a staycation, though, is that you don?t necessarily have to seek out venues like these in order to have a good time. Really, you have everything you need for a great family staycation right under your own roof. For example, you could plan a family cooking now?a great way to encourage togetherness and get some tasty food! You could take to the backyard and host a tournament for croquet, or some other such backyard game; you could even invite your friends and neighbors. Of course, there?s always the tried and true standby?the family board game night. Or for those who prefer something closer to the cutting edge, how about a family video game night?
The possibilities are limitless. With some resourcefulness and creativity, there?s no reason why you can?t make your family staycation into one of the most memorable experiences you and your clan have ever shared together.
