'The Killing' Season 2 Premiere Set For Two Hours On April 1 on AMC

Now we know when we'll find out who killed Rosie Larsen!

The two-hour Season 2 premiere of "The Killing" will air at 8 p.m. EST on Sun., April 1 on AMC, before moving to its regular 9 p.m. EST time slot on Sun., April 8, Zap2It reported from the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.

"The Killing" showrunner and head writer Veena Sud recently told Written By magazine that Rosie Larsen's murder -- the first season's central storyline that notoriously went unresolved in the finale -- will be solved at the end of the second season. That means, fans' questions will likely be answered in June.

Many viewers were frustrated by the lack of resolution at the end of Season 1, including The Huffington Post's TV critic Maureen Ryan, who wrote at the time for AOL TV:

"It wasn't just a bad ending to a poorly constructed, sloppy, disappointing season. It was a jaw-dropping instance of a show not just squandering its promise, but betraying its viewers. The tone-deaf arrogance of the writers and executives responsible for 'The Killing' is simply astonishing. And depressing, if you're a fan of quality television."

But Sud told Written By: "Our intent was not to mislead or betray ... But the bottom line is, we close the door and we're a bunch of people in the room, and our job was, and continues to be, to tell the story that feels right by us."

Despite frustrated fans, "The Killing" picked up six Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series.

But will it redeem itself in its second season?
